I dropped the scotts w/ crabgrass fertilizer, and I see a lot of weeds and dandelions and other weeds sprouting. can I put down a weed and feed or should I use a different weed killer? if so what kind?

"Weed n Feed" fertilzer is now banned in many areas mainly due to the harmful environmental effect, especially water runoff and into sewer.I like to use regular fertizer and just spot spray weeds as needed.

I applied lesco weed and feed to my St. Augustine grass 3-10 and the grass is actually looking amazing however I still have some light brown spots on it from winter. What is the next step I should do to make my lawn green? I live in Florida and the average temp now is 70+ everyday

Can I put the weed and feed on before the first cutting? Do you have to water it afterwards? Don

I live in southern California inland from the coast about 30 miles. My yard is primarily hybrid Bermuda grass with a large infusion of dichondra that I am trying to encourage. I want to feed both types of lawn yet control weeds. Will Weed & Feed type fertilizer harm the dichondra since it is a broad-leafed plant?

Weed and Feed is Fatal to pets and humans it states that right on all packaging . Please read these before applying, although it didn't do me any good to follow directions. it killed my lawn anyways. Hope you have better luck than I did.
